2017 Turf Conference

On the 6th of July 2017 the annual Lawn Solutions Australia Conference was held in Glenelg, Adelaide. We joined over 200 other attendees.

Guest speakers included:

• David Acosta - retired US Navy Seal
• Ben Roberts-Smith VC MG - The most decorated soldier in the Commonwealth. Ben spoke on his personal experiences in Afghanistan, unity, loyalty, leadership and success.
• Tommy Dean - an Asutralian comedian, Tommy had us almost to tears with laughter.

Key topics by other speakers included:

• Farm Production costs and sales
• Research and Development
• Releases of new turf varieties
• AusGAP Certification (Rivendale Turf are now fully accredited).
• Lawn Solutions Australia Partners

There were also sales stands which included:

• Husqvarna (battery charged) electric lawn mowers
• Chemicals and fertilisers
• Frost blanket and turf netting
• Information on the latest farm machinery such as:
• Automatic harvesters, Aerators, Turf mowers, Tractors and Spreaders.

Overall it was a very informative and successful Conference. We came away inspired for a bumper spring, providing you with quality, local turf.
